IMU with IMS 16 painting subsystem
On the mechatronic unit, there is a workpiece carrier with a mounted car consisting of a chassis, a circuit board, and a body. The circuit board contains several LEDs that can be controlled via an API over Wi-Fi by the PLC. The workpiece carrier moves to the middle of the conveyor belt and into the painting station. The station is equipped with closable doors, a fan, and LED strips controllable via Arduino. A painting process is simulated under PLC control using the LED strips, at the end of which the car lights up in the desired colors. The workpiece carrier then leaves the station and moves to the end of the conveyor belt, where it is taken over by the next unit.
