The LM9720 CNC milling machine can be can be directly programmed using the “Milling machine programming software with 3D simulation“ thanks to integrated postprocessor which was adapted especially for the milling machine.
The professional milling software allows the student to cover the steps from product construction to finished workpiece in the easiest way. The programming itself can be performed either in PAL, Fanuc or ISO G-code. Further, the user also has the option of converting the source code programmed in PAL into ISO G-code using a postprocessor. After programming is completed simulation is performed in 3D. This prevents any potential errors in the programme from doing actual damage to the tool.
Scope of functions:
- Programming input according to DIN 66025 with G- and M-functions, as well as PAL and Fanuc programming
- 3D simulation of the machining process with machine and tool depicted
- Data transfer from PAL or Fanuc source code and conversion into a functional G-code programme
- Input of technology values
- Maschine-independent programming: CNC-programmes can be created on several PCs independent of the CNC milling machine, i.e. while the workpiece is being machined on the CNC milling machine new programs can be created in parallel on other PCs.
- Cutting radius compensation
- Classroom license with installation on 15 workstations (with a network dongle)
- A PC (not included) is required for program creation and control of the CNC milling machine.
