Modern regional Energy Lab with Smart Grid SCADA for research

Finishing Phase 2 for the Center of Excellence in Energy for Sustainable Development (ACEESD) in Kigali. 6 additional systems were delivered, the centre is now very well equipped. Of course, the training on these systems was made on place directly after the installation of the equipment. My colleagues Marcela and Shalbus had performed successfully the training. A lot of nice new topics like battery storage in smart grid systems, photovoltaics, energy management and power electronics for renewable energies were delivered in this phase 2. All the systems are working with our SCADA smart grid software. Like for the power electronics module, the SCADA software can be connected to Matlab Simulink for additional research topics.
