Transformer Trainer 300W

The transformer trainer is designed such that you can assemble and investigate all the relevant circuits used with single-phase and 3-phase transformers. The panel consists of a special transformer and a matching RLC load. Safety protection is ensured using motor protection switches and temperature monitoring.

The following experiments can be performed:

• Operation as a 1-phase transformer
• Determining the no-load voltage, winding ratios and power dissipation
• Operation as an autotransformer
• Step-up and step-down transformation
• Operation as a 3-phase transformer in different circuits
