IMS 31 Flexible production facility with gantry robot and 4 transport systems

The facility can be used for the automated transport of a three-part workpiece in a wide variety of ways. One conveyor belt is used to supply a workpiece to the gantry robot. The workpiece can then be relayed by the gantry robot to one of three other transport systems or else temporarily placed in a storage area.

A variety of project tasks can be realised by linking multiple transport systems.

  • Transport system: Double belt conveyor with DC drive motors, a three-phase drive motor and an S7-1200 controller.
