IPA 25 Flexible Production line with 5 stations

IPA 25 Flexible Production line with 5 stations
This system can be used for the fully automatic manufacture of a sixpack. IPA 25 consists of the stations Mixing, Filling, Corking, Handling and Storage. All stations can be deployed individually or in combination. For the transport of the sixpack between the individual subsystems a conveyor belt system with workpiece carrier and dual conveyor belts is used.
With this training system the industrial processes of a complex production line is realistically simulated. Only industrial-type actuators and sensors are used here. Even for process system control only industrial-type PLC systems with Profibus and decentralised periphery are put into operation. Optional expansions of additional, modern, industrial communications systems are also in planning. The system promotes skills and expertise learned in teamwork and also empowers students to acquire the fundamentals needed to master process engineering systems independently.
Each station has been designed so that beginning with simple automation operations and sequences the student can learn step-by-step all of the skills and know-how required to create a complex automation program. The standardised interfaces permit the use of a variety of industrial PLC control units or the UniTrain-I system.
